Come play poker with your favorite Missouri Mavericks and win great prizes! One Mavericks player will be seated at every table, so you can interact with these great professional hockey players. There is a guaranteed first place cash prize of $1,000. Second through fifth place will also receive cash prizes, based on the total number of players. Rebuys and add-ons will be permitted during the first hour of play.

All proceeds from the event benefit Community Services League (www.cslcares.org). CSL is the largest provider of emergency services in Eastern Jackson County.

Arrive at 6:00 p.m. for a happy hour with the Mavericks. Free appetizers will be available, along with a cash bar, a silent auction benefitting CSL, and socialize with Mavericks players. Seating will begin at 6:45 p.m., and the tournament will start no later than 7:00 p.m.

The Missouri Mavericks will be hosting a "Teddy Bear Toss" for Community Services League at their December 10th game agains the Allen Americans.  Bring a new teddy bear to toss onto the ice and help brighten Christmas for a child at CSL.  For more information about the Missouri Mavericks or to purchase tickets, click here.

The 26th Annual Mayor's Christmas Concert benefits CSL.

The concert features:

• Independence, Fort Osage, Center Place Restoration School, Nativity of Mary and Messiah Lutheran Fourth Grade Students
• Fort Osage High School Concert Choir
• William Chrisman High School Concert Choir
• Spirit of Independence Band

Admissoin is free.  Donation offering accepted during the concert.

The 12th Annual Spirit of Caring Concert , a benefit for Community Services League (CSL) of Blue Springs will feature a variety of musical performances by soloists, bands, choirs and ensembles from thorughout the Blue Springs community and school district.

Tickets are $4 and will be available for purchase at the door.

This annual event features desserts and Christmas decorations that are auctioned off in a live auction.  There is also a silent auction with a lot of great items to be won!
