HEADLINE STORY

This holiday season, CSL invites you to "Give Big"!

We all know the famous saying that "it is better to give than to receive".  At Community Services League (CSL), we want to make sure that everyone has their needs covered and our theme for this year is "Give Big!"

In the coming weeks, more than 6,000 of your neighbors will come to one of our seven Eastern Jackson County locations.  We are asking you to "Give Big!" this year and make sure everyone will call this year a Merry Christmas.

CSL will provide every family with new gifts, materials to wrap the gifts, and supplies for a delicious meal.  With your help, it will be a great holiday season!

"GIVE BIG!" with Donated Items

You can bring new Christmas gifts and meal supplies (turkeys, hams, mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, frozen rolls, and pie mixes) to any of our seven CSL locations.  Please note the CSL Christmas Stores begin the week of December 12th.

Follow CSL on Facebook, Twitter and at www.cslcares.org.  Help us advocate for an end to poverty in our area. You can spread holiday joy by coordinating a food, clothing or Christmas toy drive at your workplace, church or civic club.  You can also contact CSL about volunteer opportunities at one of our locations by emailing volunteer@cslcares.org or calling 816-254-4100.

Success Stories

CSL taught Deana how to build a resume and find a steady job. Still, Deana struggled to pay the interest-free mortgage on her Habitat for Humanity house. Assistance from CSL prevented Deana from losing her home to foreclosure. Now, Deana volunteers for CSL.
