CIRCLES USA

WITH THE RIGHT SUPPORT, ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

What happens when a community comes together to help neighbors overcome the struggles of poverty? When neighbors become allies to support families and individuals on their path toward a brighter future? When resources are unlocked to make what seemed the unthinkable, suddenly possible? This is Circles USA and it’s launching now in our Kansas City community.

A proven path to success.

From its early roots in 1998, Circles USA has grown to more than 70 chapters across the United States and Canada. With a mission to inspire and equip families and communities to end poverty and thrive, Circles is making real impact. This unique model of engagement matches Allies with neighbors struggling in poverty (Circle Leaders) to provide support as they strive to reach new goals. And it works. After 18 months in the program, Circle Leaders achieve an average 71% increase in income - and that’s just the beginning. Because it gives them the tools to lead the change they want to see in their life, building financial and the confidence to continue to grow.

The dynamic of change.

43 million Americans live below the poverty line, including 14.5 million children. And that doesn’t tell the full picture, because the Federal Poverty Guideline income levels fall short of what it takes for most people to live on. So how do we change the dynamic? By supporting motivated individuals to make changes in their life with supportive relationships and resources to overcome barriers to success.

Change life for the better.

If you’re struggling financially and ready to make positive changes in your life, we can help. As a participant in a CirclesUSA group, you’ll build a roadmap for change in your life, to become a Circles Leader. Then, you’ll be matched with Allies from the community who provide 18 months of support to help you grow and succeed. Plus, you’ll have access to a resource team that has connections to everything from training and employment opportunities to financial assistance and more.

Be an ally to provide support.

When neighbors are working to lift themselves out of poverty, the right support can make all the difference. You can help by volunteering as a Circles Ally to share your experience navigating the challenges of life. Two to three Allies are matched with each Circle Leader to support their path to change over an 18-month period. Plus, you’ll have access to a resource team for connections to programs, and educational sessions to help you be the kind of Ally our Circle Leaders need to thrive.
