GETTING HELP WITH FOOD
Community Services League is committed to helping neighbors meet their food and nutrition needs in times of struggle. We are an equal opportunity provider, providing resources and connections for all families in need.
Food & Nutrition Resources
CSL Food Pantry
Community Services League provides food assistance at many of our locations. Typically, three to five days’ worth of supplies is provided, based on the situation and availability.

CSL Hot Meals
Wednesday evenings, CSL staff and volunteers serve a hot meal beginning at 6:00 pm at Stone Church Community of Christ in Independence.
CSL’s Eastern Jackson County Drop-In Center serves breakfast and lunch Monday-Thursday. The meal is designed for those experiencing homelessness, but anyone in need of food is welcome to join.
Public Benefits
For those who qualify, the staff at CSL can help you access public nutrition programs, including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Site Managers and Financial Coaches can work with you to determine program eligibility.
