Help fill the Christmas Store without making an extra trip. Choose gifts for local children from CSL’s Target wish list and have your purchase delivered directly to us.
Simply browse the list, add your selections to your cart, and select the registry’s delivery address at checkout. Each gift helps a parent find something special for their children this Christmas.

When does registration open for families?
Family registration for the Christmas Store opens on November 16, 2026.
If you need help finding Christmas assistance near you, contact United Way by dialing 2-1-1.
When can I volunteer?
Preparation opportunities run November 3–December 11, 2026. Volunteers are also needed while the Christmas Store is open, December 13–19, 2026. See the signup page for individual shift times.
You can also host a Christmas Barrel to collect gifts from November 1–December 2, 2026.
Can I volunteer with a group?
Friends, coworkers, and congregations are encouraged to get involved. Check the number of openings in a shift before making plans for your group.

What if I can’t volunteer?
Host a Christmas Barrel at your workplace, congregation, school, or community group to collect gifts for local children. You can also shop our Target wish list and have gifts delivered directly to CSL.
How do I make a donation?
Make a monetary donation to help CSL provide Christmas gifts for 1,500 families in Independence. You can also purchase gifts from our Target wish list. Select the registry’s delivery address at checkout to send your gifts directly to CSL.
