2026 CSL Legacy Award
Carole Wight
About the CSL Legacy Award
The CSL Legacy Award honors individuals whose leadership, generosity, and long-term commitment have helped shape the mission and future of Community Services League. Recipients of this award reflect the very best of community service: people who do not simply support a cause, but help build something lasting for others. Carole Wight’s legacy is one of partnership, possibility, and practical compassion — the kind of leadership that continues to change lives long after the first act of service.
A Legacy Rooted in Opportunity
Carole’s connection to CSL grew through a shared belief: that financial stability, dignity, and opportunity should be within reach for every family.
As a longtime leader with Holy Rosary Credit Union, Carole helped champion creative partnerships that brought financial services closer to the people who needed them most. Through micro-branches, affordable lending, and community-based support, she helped make financial tools more accessible to CSL neighbors working toward stability.
That partnership helped create real alternatives for families facing financial pressure — including affordable small-dollar loans that offered a better path than predatory lending.
in affordable small-dollar loans have helped local families avoid high-cost debt and take meaningful steps toward financial wellness.
In her own words…
“Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.”
