Through the partnership, we provide basic medical assistance for low-income, underserved and uninsured neighbors in our community.

From Dental Care to Eyeglasses
AccessKC’s Core Program provides essential medical care 100% free for individuals and families with limited income (household income below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level). From emergency dental care and prescriptions to eye exams, hearing aids, and durable medical equipment, we remove cost barriers so you can focus on your health.
Services Covered
Dental care, including treatment for pain, fillings, extractions, dentures, and partials
Eye exams and glasses (basic frame + medically-necessary lenses; every 24 months)
Prescription medications (up to a 90-day supply)
Hearing tests, hearing aids, and fittings
Durable medical equipment, including delivery and setup for large items
Eligibility Requirements
AccessKC provides services to qualified individuals once every 12-month period up to a maximum of $1,800 in lifetime services.
Individuals with household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines may qualify for medical support services.
A CSL coach can help you apply and walk you through the income and documentation requirements.
Approximate per-month income:
Single person – $2,660
Two people – $3,606
Family of four – $5,500
Required documentation:
Prescription or Medical order
Proof of income for entire household
Picture ID
Social Security Cards or ITIN Cards for entire household
Proof of address for past 30 days
